Look

Press ⇧⌘P (or Ctrl Shift P) on anything on your screen, and your POVs look at it the way they would.

What they can look at

Websites, Figma, localhost, apps, images, video: anything on your screen. povs doesn’t need a URL or a file. If you can see it, your POVs can look at it.

How a look works

  1. Press ⇧⌘PCtrl Shift P. The screen dims and the chooser appears.
  2. Drag over what you want them to see, or choose a window, or the whole screen.
  3. Your POVs join the room and look, each in their own way. Their cursors show you where they go; what they select is what they’re reading.
  4. When each of them is done, their reaction arrives in the thread.

Different people notice different things. That’s the point of having more than one.

The room

Each test has a room, like #quick-povs. It holds your brief, who joined and where they come from, and what each POV noticed, in order. The bar at the bottom of your screen shows who’s looking.

  • + Add view brings another screen into the same test, so they can follow a flow from one page to the next.
  • Finish ends the test.

Reading a reaction

A reaction says what they noticed, where, and what they concluded. Marks on the view show exactly what each POV looked at, in their colour. Anything you want to understand better, ask them.
